Inflatable Chair – A Dorm Room and Camping Essential

The inflatable chair is an affordable form of room furniture that can be blown up, and deflated when not in use. The vinyl used in these chairs is called PVC, which is a plastic resin based on ethylene and chlorine. There are many varieties of inflatable chairs on the market today, including the inflatable armchair, inflatable couch and inflatable sofa.
A bubble chair is one of the inflatable chairs that is shaped by large balls or bubbles that are attached to each other. Inflatable bean bag chairs don't have a filling of beans like regular bean bag chairs, but instead have a bag shape that is filled with air. Low-backed inflatable chairs ore sometimes shaped in a curve, and the back rest can be a section shaped like a tube, which attaches to the rounded body of the chair. High-backed inflatable chairs don't recline, but they look like a reclining armchair style. You can even purchase inflatable footstools to pair with your chairs.
Inflatable chairs are sometimes sold with other inflatable furniture pieces like sofas and footstools. Inflatable seats can usually hold adults up to 500 pounds in weight, if they are of good quality and materials. Kids inflatable chairs will often be festooned with cartoon characters, for a whimsical touch in a child's room.
The vinyl used in an inflatable chair can be transparent or opaque, and the chair may be clear in color or it could have some sections that are clear and some other areas that are colorful. You can also purchase inflatable chairs in vivid and colorful shades like green, pink, purple, red or blue. You can even get chairs with animal prints on them, or college or sporting teams' logos. They make a great addition to any college dorm room, because you can deflate them when they're not in use, so they take up almost no room. Coleman inflatable chairs are great on camping trips, too, because of your ability to pack them away easily when they're deflated.
If you've ever gone on a trip and hauled along folding inflatable chairs for camping, you know what a pain they can be, and how much room they take up. But deflate your inflatable furniture, and you can squeeze them into lots of little nooks and crannies when you pack. This will free up more space for luggage, and they're easier to carry around, as well. There are even inflatable chairs called pack chairs that inflate themselves, with the reaction of two substances inside the chair. To inflate it, all you have to do is activate a small switch, and the two compounds will interact and make foam. It only takes a few minutes to fill, and then you have a very comfortable chair.
If you're sticking with standard inflatable chairs, you can take along a handy foot pump, and attach a needle such as those used to blow up footballs and basketballs. Of course, they're easier to deflate than inflate, but either one is not a task. And the compactness of an inflatable chair when deflated makes it worth the relatively little work involved in blowing it up.
